First off, if you are working in your host country legally, then the people who did all of your paper work so that you can get the correct visas and working permits are going to be very angry if you up and quit one or two month into your career with them. You may not care, but the English as a second language teacher that comes after you will care. Because the way you treated your employers will have a direct bearing n how they treat the next foreigner they encounter and try to hire.

So give the new place and environment a little time. I would say you really need to give a place a minimum of three months. If you give a place a little I have a hunch things will work out nicely for you. And if not, then at least you gave the place, and the people a fair shake.
